The first-ever e-NCM. Not what we planned but definitely more than could we have ever expected!
The JA Alumni Network was not spared from the Corona crisis either and sadly the spring NCM could not take place as planned in Copenhagen. Within a few days and weeks the European Board has set up an online solution and so the very first e-NCM took place on April 4th.
More than 50 participants from over 25 nations sat in front of their screens for one day and worked together on new strategies and concepts, listened to updates of the EB, exchanged experiences and know-how and of course, also had a lot of fun.
The agenda was packed with interesting and relevant topics such as Updates, NCM Bidding, the New KPIs for the Country ranking or the Corona Masterclasses.
But let’s start from the beginning!
The European Board opened the e-NCM with the announcement of a major new Accelarator Project and the vision to establish and pay for Alumni Coordinators in the countries.
One of the most exciting agenda points was for sure the NCM bidding for 2021 and onwards. JA Alumni Germany, JA Alumni Albania and JA Alumni Italy gave everything in the pitches and presented their network as well as their country in a great way. It was for sure a tough decision but in the end, JA Alumni Albania was the lucky winner. Congrats again we can’t wait for the NCMs 2021 in Tirana.
The Masterclasses were all about Corona. In smaller groups challenges and problems were tackled that the networks are facing due to the crisis, like e-Events, e-recruiting, leadership and many more. It was a great and interactive session where lots of valuable ideas and inputs were collected and we can't wait to implement the outcomes.
Even though the e-NCM was a great success and one we will never forget, we can't wait to see all your lovely faces again, work face to face on strategies, have deep conversations and celebrate an amazing weekend together.
We are more than ever looking forward to physically gather for one last time in November 2020 in Copenhagen!

Das aller erste e-NCM überhaupt. Nicht das, was wir geplant hatten, aber auf jeden Fall mehr, als wir jemals erwartet hätten!
Auch das JA-Alumni-Netzwerk blieb von der Corona-Krise nicht verschont und leider konnte das Frühjahrs-NCM nicht wie geplant in Kopenhagen stattfinden. Innerhalb weniger Tage und Wochen hat das European Board eine Online-Lösung auf die Beine gestellt und so fand am 4. April das allererste e-NCM statt.
Mehr als 50 Teilnehmer aus über 25 Nationen saßen einen Tag lang vor ihren Bildschirmen und arbeiteten gemeinsam an neuen Strategien und Konzepten, hörten sich Updates des EB an, tauschten Erfahrungen und Know-how aus und hatten natürlich auch viel Spaß.
Die Agenda war vollgepackt mit interessanten und relevanten Themen wie Updates, NCM Bidding, die neuen KPIs für das Länderranking oder die Corona Masterclasses.
Aber fangen wir von vorne an!
Das European Board eröffnete das e-NCM mit der Ankündigung eines neuen Accelarator-Projekts und der Vision, Alumni-Koordinatoren in den Ländern zu etablieren und zu bezahlen.
Einer der spannendsten Punkte auf der Agenda war sicherlich die NCM-Ausschreibung für 2021. JA Alumni Deutschland, JA Alumni Albanien und JA Alumni Italien haben bei den Pitches alles gegeben und ihr Netzwerk sowie ihr Land großartig präsentiert. Es war eine schwere Entscheidung, aber am Ende konnte sich JA Alumni Albanien durchsetzten. Nochmals herzlichen Glückwunsch, wir können die NCMs 2021 in Tirana kaum erwarten.
Bei den Masterclasses drehte sich alles um das Thema Corona. In kleineren Gruppen wurden Herausforderungen und Probleme angegangen, die die Netzwerke aufgrund der Krise haben, wie e-Events, e-Recruiting, Leadership und viele mehr. Es war eine produktive und interaktive Session, in der viele wertvolle Ideen und Inputs gesammelt wurden, und wir können es kaum erwarten, die Ergebnisse umzusetzen.
Auch wenn das e-NCM ein großer Erfolg war und wir es bestimmt nicht sobald vergessen werden, können wir es kaum erwarten, alle Alumni wiederzusehen.
Wir freuen uns mehr denn je darauf, im November 2020 das letzte Mal fürs NCM in Kopenhagen zusammenzukommen!
